Buzz Lightyear, is a Space Ranger and Captain of the Alliance’s Team. Well known for his bravery and courage, Buzz was welcomed by the crews of the Space Shuttle Discovery, and the International Space Station in May 2008, when he joined fellow astronauts and cosmonauts for a six month stay on the ISS. He was often seen peering out the windows of the ISS, and even enjoyed his meals with the other ten members of the crew. When Buzz Lightyear first met Woody, he was not aware of his status as a toy, and when he discovered that he was not real according to Woody and the other toys, he became extremely sad. Yet, his courage soon overcame his sadness and he joined Woody and soon became the adventuresome star along side Woody, and later Jessie the cowgirl, as they helped each other defeat the bad guys in the Toy Story trilogy.
